I am looking for a room in a shared flat. I am studying at the ETH Hönggerberg campus, so something nearby would be preferable, but I am open to pretty much anywhere in Zurich. I would describe myself as easy-going, respectful, and tidy. I make a conscious effort to keep shared spaces clean and organized, and I’m always mindful of others’ need for privacy and quiet time. At the same time, I genuinely enjoy getting to know the people I live with whether that’s cooking meals together, sharing a beer, or just having a good conversation at the end of the day. My name is Adam and I’ve moved to Zurich recently to begin a post-grad Master’s at ETH in the architecture department. I'm currently living in a building with a contract end date in January, so I'm looking for somewhere to move prior to then. I’m originally from the US, but for the past few years I’ve been living and working in architecture in London. I’ve lived in shared houses before, so I’m very comfortable sharing space with others and being considerate of different routines and lifestyles. Outside of work and studies, I like reading and spending time outdoors whether it be for a hike, ski, or recently bouldering. I’ve also recently started learning German (though I currently only speak English fluently) so it would be great to practice with German speakers!
