De kamer
We are looking for three new flatmates: • Room 1 – permanent: CHF 475.40/month, 13m2, all included, available from 1st January. Furniture can be taken over if desired. • Room 2 – permanent: CHF 415.40/month, 10m2, all include, available from 1st December. Unfurnished. • Room 3 – temporary: CHF 515.40/month, 14m2, available from mid-December until March, all included. The room will be furnished. The rent includes utilities, WiFi, laundry, and our shared Vegi-Abo. The apartment is on the second and uppermost floor of a cute house in the Steigerhubel neighbourhood. The WG has five bedrooms and two bathrooms. Our connected kitchen and living room enable a lot of interactions and gives us enough space for all our needs (and plants!). We also share the garden with our neighbors, who we know well.
We zoeken
We are looking for two people to join the WG permanently and one person looking for a temporary room from mid-December until March. Since two permanent rooms are opening at the same time, friends are very welcome to apply together! Of course, individual applications are equally welcome. We’re looking for open-minded people who enjoy a social, multilingual and community-oriented home. Our WG is queer-friendly, and we want it to be a safe space where everyone feels comfortable and respected. Ideally, you have your own life and interests, but also enjoy being part of a shared household, where looking after the space and each other comes naturally and goes a bit beyond the cleaning schedule. We share our food (mostly vegetarian, and the Vegi-Abo is included in the rent), divide and structure the chores according to everyone’s capacity, eat dinner together when we’re around, and sometimes plan things like a climbing trip or a visit to Gelateria di Berna. Keeping up a long WG tradition, we throw a themed party once a year. If you're interested, please write to us about yourself, which room you are interested in, and whether you are applying alone or together with a friend. We will have two rounds of interviews, with the first taking place at the end of October/beginning of November. Please also let us know your availability during this period.
Over ons
We are a multilingual, community-loving and queer-friendly WG. Our WG languages include English, French, Swiss German and German. Hanna (she/her, 30) loves aerial acrobatics, outdoor adventures and board games. She loves socializing and cooking, so she often instigates group dinners, hosts Dungeons and Dragons and game nights, or invites friends out to do aerial together. If she’s not at home, you’ll probably find her setting up highlines to do aerial silks from. She will be away from mid-December until March, which is why her room is available for a temporary sublet during this period. Belinda (none, 34) studies social cultural animation in Lucerne and works as a youth worker in Konolfingen. Always happy to join a weird concert or play a wacky game with friends while drinking lots of tea, Belinda is also often active in a chaotic garden collective near the aare, planting medicinal herbs or intertwined in a passionate discussion on how to curse the patriarchy and bring an end to capitalism. Tino (he/him, 34) Socialworker, who likes to be active in nature with highlining and partneracrobatics. Milos (he/him, dog, 4), also known as Mr. mc Snoutypants, loves to run like crazy through the neighbourhood, may not be very brave, but sweet.

Groceries (Lidl, Coop, Voi), the Weyerli for swimming, the Bremgarten forest, and Europaplatz with lots of public transport connections are all nearby. The Steigerhubel neighbourhood is a vivid but quiet and green place between Europaplatz and Insels
