La habitación
The room is about 15 m2 and very bright. The room has a carpeted floor at the moment with a beautiful wooden floor underneath, so you can choose what you’d rather have. There is enough space for a large bed and an office. You can take over some of the furniture from the previous tenant (shelf, table, bed (1.40) can be discussed). Our house is old but lovely and has 4 floors. We are 5 minutes from the lake, 30 minutes by train to Zurich HB. We are proud of our big dining room, the living room with projector, the big terrace with lake view and the guest room, all full of plants. Disclaimer: The Seestrasse and a train track is in front of our house, so it is noisy during the day.
Buscamos
We care about respectful communication, consideration for each other, and a warm living atmosphere. We would like to live with somebody close to our age, more or less between 25 and 40, student or working or doing other creative and fun things in your life :) We are sometimes very busy bees, but we also like to share meals, movie/game nights, WG action days, WG meetings and to go partying together. You should be motivated to spare some time for the community and our regular meetings once a month. Anyone who is socially and politically sensibilized, and especially queers and BIPocs are warmly encouraged to send us an application letter. The WG language is English. Tell us a little bit about yourself in your application.
Somos
We are 6-7 friends sharing the house: Doruk (any) ADHD artist, Balazs (they/them) professionally-rebuilding-our-cellar-every-year, Aika (she/her) chaotic social worker, Laurin (he/him) lapwing-lover, Oline (she/her) makes-our-garden-bloom and Abije (moody neighbour's cat who thinks she belongs to us). Our age ranges from 27 to 34 and we have 4 different nationalities. We are all working part-time. Some of us live poly-relationships. Bonus: the WG will be reshaping soon, so there may be space for friends to move in or even a second room if you love having lots of space.
