Das Zimmer
A lovely (completely furnished) room on the second floor. It‘s around 15 qm with a window facing the courtyard where you‘ll get lots of morning sun. On the same floor you‘ll have a bathroom, shared with three to four people and one floor above there‘s a shower, shared by three to four people as well. The WG is a classic industrial WOKO building with four floors, common area with kitchen and couch, containing everything you could possible need. We do have a balcony on the rooftop as well, but I believe throughout winter that‘s less attractive. Washing machines are shared with other wg‘s in the basement, but there‘s always one free to use.
Wir suchen
An open-minded and polite person with a good sense of cleanness. Because some of my personal items will stay in the room, I am looking for a trustworthy person, who‘s interested too, in getting well along with my lovely roomies. Plus, most importantly:) I‘ll be leaving some of my plants. So I need someone who‘s trustworthy enough to water them once a week.
Wir sind
Our WG is a nine person, multicultural WG. From Moroccan, to Spain, to Italian, to German over to Swiss people. All of them are very kind, open-minded and will definitely pull you into a late-night tea talk in our kitchen. They appreciate someone kind and interactive. But at the same time, the expectations aren‘t rising much higher than to say „hi“ and tell them who you are:) So if you are interested (and have read everything to this point); Please tell me your name, age, where you’re from, studies (or job) and why you want to stay at Zurich over the winter.
In der Nähe
Behind Milchbuck, right next to Irchel university. Main building of ETH and UZH are close by (ten minutes by tram), same as Höngg. There‘s a small coop at milchbuck and all possible grocery stores in Oerlikon (five minutes tram drive)
