Das Zimmer
This furnished room is available as a temporary sublet until 31 January. At approximately 20 m², this is the largest bedroom in our WG. It comes fully furnished and ready to move into, with lovely morning light and blackout blinds for a good lie-in. Our cosy 4.5-room apartment has a spacious living room and a lovely balcony overlooking the city. We’re on the fourth and top floor, with a lift and extra storage space for skis and other equipment. The location makes everyday life easy: we’re right by Lochergut tram stop, surrounded by great bars, cafés and restaurants. Lidl, Coop, a pharmacy, Pure Fitness and an Asian grocery store are about a minute’s walk away. Within five minutes, you’ll find plenty more shops, ACTIV FITNESS and Wiedikon station. There are also 24-hour and Sunday shopping options nearby.
Wir suchen
We’re looking for someone friendly, considerate and easy to live with. Ideally, you’re around your mid-twenties, have moved beyond the full-on student party phase, and still enjoy going out, exploring Zurich and trying new things. You’ll be sharing with two guys, and we welcome flatmates of any gender. We speak both English and German at home, so being comfortable with both would be a plus. We’re a sociable bunch who enjoy catching up over dinner, chatting during the day and spending time together when it happens naturally. There’s no packed calendar of organised flat activities—our shared life is mostly spontaneous. We’d love someone who enjoys being part of a home and brings their own interests and personality to it.
Wir sind
You’ll be living with Victor and Vincent, two curious, approachable people with a wide range of interests. Victor is a secondary-school teacher in the canton of Zurich who loves travelling and adventure sports. He has an impressive collection of licences—car, motorbike and boat—and is now learning to paraglide. In his free time, you’ll often find him skiing, planning his next adventure or heading out with friends. Vincent works at a large bank and is always up for a good conversation. He’s knowledgeable, easy to talk to and interested in all sorts of things, especially history. He enjoys reading, gaming and staying active, with a particular enthusiasm for racket sports. You’ll be moving into Brian’s room. He’s currently doing a semester abroad in France while completing his master’s degree and working in AI for a large engineering firm. He’s friendly, sociable and seems to know everyone in town. He loves playing sports and following football in particular.
