Room in a flat share in Bern, CHF 800

The room

The room: The bedroom has a large window facing the inner courtyard of the building, making it one of the quietest rooms in the apartment. It also benefits from good orientation for morning sun. If you'd like, some of the furniture (table and wardrobe) can be kept for free (not the furniture shown in the bedroom picture). There are multiple electrical outlets around the room. The flat: The apartment is a 4.5 rooms on the 3rd floor with an elevator, and features a balcony, wood floors, underfloor heating, and a stove. The dining area and living room are separate, giving everyone a bit more space to spread out. There is one bathroom and one separate toilet to share. We also have a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a tumble dryer in the bathroom, WiFi, and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and microwave, plus some other shared equipment.

We are looking for

We're looking for someone who enjoys spending time in the flat share now and then, but who's also happy doing their own thing, open, easygoing, and up for a good flat-share life. A good sense of living together with people, sharing chores, and everything else a nice home requires. The current language spoken in the WG is English, and it would be good if you can speak it too. If you can picture yourself moving in with us, write to us and tell us about yourself. Please don't forget to mention your age along with your occupation, hobbies etc. Looking forward to hearing from you!

About us

A 3 people WG: Corina (32, F) has been in the flat share the longest. She loves animals, enjoys reading, and likes spending time with friends at Marzili. After work, you'll often find her at the gelateria just around the corner. She speaks German and English. Louis (25, M) is studying in Bern and is in the final year of his master's degree. He's passionate about music and movies, plays the piano in his free time, and likes to go for walks when the weather is nice. At home, he spends most of his time in his own room studying and pursuing his hobbies, but he equally enjoys nice chats and spending time around the flat. He loves cooking, especially with someone else, and is always keen to try out new recipes and cuisines. Overall he's a calm person who appreciates similar vibes, but is just as happy to share spontaneous, exciting moments. He speaks French and English fluently, understands German well, but isn't quite confident enough yet to speak it. Riccardo (35, M) is leaving the WG and the room. He is, first and foremost, an amazing and passionate cook (not his words), even though he doesn't make a living from it. He now works as a microbiologist.
