La chambre
Super cozy suite with a private bathroom in a shared house. The room comes furnished with a bed, a desk and chair, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, and a bedside table, along with some decorations that bring the room to life. Apart from how cozy it is, the best part is the amazing view of Zürich from both the bedroom and the bathroom (I have photos to prove it, just ask 😅); you really walk out of the shower feeling like royalty. The house itself is huge and full of charm (again, happy to send a photo!), with 21 rooms in total. It’s located at Restelbergstrasse 12, right next to the Toblerplatz tram and bus stops. ETH and UZH are about 10 minutes away by tram 6/8 or a 15–20-minute walk. Zürich HB is around 15 minutes away by tram The shared facilities include a game room, a dining/study room, a living room with a nice TV, and a laundry room with washing machines and dryers. There’s also a massive kitchen with plenty of space to cook and two dishwashers to help keep things tidy. Speaking of keeping things tidy, a cleaning team comes every week to clean the common areas.
